A tabloid claims Brad Pitt is worried about how Alia Shawkat will handle the scrutiny that comes with dating him. However, the movie star isn’t dating the Arrested Development actress, so the story is total fiction. Gossip Cop can once again set the record straight on this ongoing narrative.
As Gossip Cop has made clear several times already, there’s no romance between Pitt and Shawkat, despite recent speculation that the two are a couple. The rumors emerged simply because they’ve hung out at many recent events over the past few months, but they’ve been accompanied by other friends during all of these outings. Pitt and Shawkat were most recently spotted together at Kanye West’s concert at the Hollywood Bowl, where they were joined by many other pals. The actor’s rep has told us on the record that he’s not dating the actress, while many reliable publications have confirmed they’re just friends.
Unfortunately, Life & Style has decided to come up with another phony angle in this fake narrative. The magazine says Pitt doesn’t want to rush his relationship with Shawkat, mostly because he knows his love life creates a media circus. “He’s been worried about how Alia will handle the attention that comes with dating him,” an anonymous insider tells the outlet. “Not a lot of women can handle that scrutiny.” The tabloid, however, goes on to say that Shawkat better “brace herself” because their romance is blossoming.
While both the media and the average fan tend to obsess over Pitt’s love life, as his marriages to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have proven, this won’t be a real issue for a woman he isn’t dating. It’s only becoming an issue because the tabloids keep publishing phony stories about the pair. If Pitt or Shawkat should be worried about anything, it’s all the baseless scrutiny forced upon them by the tabloids. No reputable outlet will be paying too much attention to their nonexistent romance.
Just one month ago, Gossip Cop called out Life & Style for falsely claiming Pitt had rekindled a romance with Aniston and was planning to have a baby with her. That bogus scenario isn’t mentioned in this latest article about him and Shawkat. Back in August, the same outlet published an absurd cover story about Pitt being in a “forbidden romance” with Margot Robbie, who’s happily married. It’s quite clear the tabloid is just making up its storylines as it goes along.
