Hannah Ann Sluss will be competing for Peter Weber on The Bachelor next season, and host Chris Harrison is teasing although she’ll appear innocent and naive, she has a “backbone” and will be in the middle of drama.
Hannah Ann, a 23-year-old model from Knoxville, TN, will be one of Peter’s 30 bachelorettes when The Bachelor’s 24th season premieres with a three-hour event on Monday, January 6 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Chris gave fans a preview of what they can expect to see from Hannah Ann on the new season during a Facebook Live video called “Meet the Women” that was posted to The Bachelor’s official Facebook account on Monday.
“Hannah Ann, a model that actually came to us from [Hannah Godwin],” Chris revealed.
“So Hannah G., you guys might remember — obviously was on Bachelor in Paradise, got engaged to [Dylan Barbour] and found her love story in Paradise,” he recalled of the bachelorette who first appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and finished in his Final 3.
“She had this great, beautiful girl, Hannah Ann, and gave [her to the franchise].”
However, Hannah Ann apparently wasn’t prepared for what The Bachelor process was going to be like.
“Despite [being recommended for the show], Hannah Ann had no idea what was going on,” Chris insisted in the Facebook video.
“She seemed very naive about this whole Bachelor world. For someone who is so naive and innocent, she ended up in the middle of absolutely everything.”
The Bachelor host elaborated, “Every bit of drama that you could run into, this was Hannah Ann.”
“But, let me just say this about her: seems sweet, quiet, reserved — girl’s got a backbone,” Chris concluded. “Girl’s got a backbone.”
Hannah Ann posted her professional cast photo on Instagram — along with a short clip of Chris announcing her on Facebook — on Tuesday and captioned it, “Going into the season first class.”
The model hinted she might’ve made it all the way to the end of Peter’s season in her Instagram Stories.
Hannah Ann was shopping at a grocery store in her Tuesday video and said, “So I got a personal trainer since I’ve been on vacation for, like, three months, and she’s helping me. She made me a grocery list.”
Since The Bachelor’s 24th season began filming in September and wrapped in November, if Hannah Ann was gone for three months, it sounds like she might have been one of Peter’s last women standing!
Peter will be introduced to 30 beautiful bachelorettes in the season premiere, and by the end of Night 1, only 22 bachelorettes will remain. Peter’s journey on the show had stops in Costa Rica, Chile, Peru and more.
