Lizzo is a strong woman that knows what she wants and she is not afraid to say it. A certain member of One Direction spilled the tea about the very direct way the “Truth Hurts” singer hit on him when he appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallen” but which one was it?
It wasn’t the brash mushroom taking Harry Styles or Zayn Malik who has reportedly been on and off again with Gigi Hadid, but we can imagine that Lizzo likes “Pillow Talk.” No, it was the shy Irishman, Niall Horan.
Enough To Make Niall Blush
Niall admitted the way the 31-year-old singer hit on him caused his rosy cheeks to get even rosier. He described how they first met and why he will never forget it.
“I was in London doing a radio performance in the studio,” Horan told Fallen. “And she was coming in to do an interview in the studio as well. And someone said, ‘Oh, Lizzo’s here! She’d love to meet you.’”
Meeting other celebrities in the halls of radio stations is a fairly common occurrence, especially when they are across the pond but not every celebrity is Lizzo.
Would Lizzo Smash Or Pass The Former One Directioner
Fallon was on the edge of his seat as Niall recounted the flirty Lizzo encounter.
“We’re passing in the corridor, I was like, ‘Ah! Lovely to meet you!’ Gave her a big hug,” Niall explained. “‘You’re voice is incredible. Your songs are amazing. You’re absolutely smashing it.’ And literally, without missing a beat, she just went, ‘You can smash this!’”
We don’t think we have to explain what she meant when she said “smash” but let’s just say she would gladly spend the night with him.
The audience erupted and Fallon exclaimed, “She’s fast!” Horan just clapped his hands and said she made a “fair play.”
“I actually started blushing myself!” Niall said.
While Horan was promoting his new music, he revealed that some songs on the album came from the emotions he felt after he broke up with actress Hailee Steinfeld almost one-year-ago.
“There’s all these different sides to a breakup. It’s not all sad, all the time. When you break up with someone, it’s not just like, I’m sitting at a window. I’m looking out. I’m feeling sorry for myself. It’s raining against that window. Sometimes you’re like out on the town, throwing some shapes and you write songs like ‘Nice To Meet Ya!’” he said.
The star has already debuted some new songs like, “Nice To Meet Ya” but he may play us a new tune when he takes the stage as the musical guest for “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. He told Jimmy just how much the opportunity means to him.
“I mean, it’s SNL,” Niall told the former “SNL” cast member. “I know you come from there, so maybe not, but for us it’s like the Grammys and SNL are like one and two right next to each other. To get the call from [executive producer Lorne Michaels] to say that you’re gonna be musical guest is pretty sweet. So, I get proper nervous.”
